The guys over at The Next Web noticed an interesting new Google search feature cropping up today. It appears Google is testing a new feature that will allow you to view a snap shot of a webpage in the search results with the search terms used highlighted on the page.
Despite being taught to “never judge a book by it’s cover” we still do and users tend to judge the quality of a company by it’s website. If someone searching for your product or service now has the ability to view a snap shot of your website and with the slide of a mouse can view the site of a competitor how will you compare? Is your website giving you a competitive advantage or holding you back?
